I’ve mentioned that when River was fussy during her second night at home, I talked her to sleep. I never mentioned exactly what she and I discussed in that late-night conversation: I recited her a poem,”Oh, the Places You’ll Go” by Dr. Suess. I just happened to have it memorized. Halfway through the second recitation, River was fast asleep.
I’m not saying you have to recite poetry, but talking your pup to sleep may help them settle down.
