What to expect when you register
Within 24 hours of registration, Jake will email you. We’ll send you the coaching agreement to sign digitally, and then send you off to our trusty calendar to book your first Zoom session at a time that works best for you.
Technical details
Zoom sessions and ongoing support:
With this coaching program, we’ll start with a 90-minute onboarding consultation, followed by regular 45-minute Zoom sessions (most clients meet about once per week).
We know life doesn’t always follow a set routine, so you’re not locked in to a specific day/time for your weekly sessions.
And if you ever need to miss a session, no worries – we can keep making progress that week through messaging and video review.
When are we available for Zoom sessions?
Typically between 9am and 4pm Arizona time, Sunday through Thursday. We have some flexibility with scheduling, so if those times/days don’t work for you, let us know before you register.
This program runs for eight weeks, starting on the day of your onboarding session.
You’ll have access to text messaging support via Whatsapp immediately after the onboarding, and continuing throughout the program.
What we need from you
For virtual training to be successful, it’s important to stay engaged and work closely with us. So in addition to your Zoom sessions, we ask that you check in with us via text at least once per week. If we don’t hear from you, we’ll send you a check-in text message.
You’ll need to send us videos of some of your training sessions every week, so we can check your form and determine when you’re ready to level up.
You don’t have to film EVERY every training session, but enough to let us follow along and get a sense of how it’s going.
We may also ask you to film clips of playtime, walks, interactions with other pets, and any weird body language you’re not sure about. This helps us get to know your dog and catch important details early.
Tech requirements
You’ll need to be able to:
- Take short videos and upload them to the internet. Nothin’ fancy – your phone camera is fine
- Attend Zoom meetings
- Use Whatsapp for texting and video sharing
Payment plan information
If you sign up for the payment plan, your card or PayPal account will automatically be charged twice: once today, and once 30 days from today.
If you cancel before both payments are complete, your access to the Academy and the coaching program will end and you won’t be able to proceed through the rest of the curriculum.
The video-share option
When you register, you have the option to choose the video share discount: $100 off your program in exchange for letting us use some of your training footage to help future students.
What we’ll use your footage for:
Tutorials and other educational content in the Academy. We may also use it for promotional purposes on our websites and social media. We always showcase our clients’ videos with respect and discretion. (No embarrassing stuff, promise!)
The faces/identifying features of any children who appear in the videos will be obscured. If you’d like, we’ll do the same for adults as well.

Refund policy
Purchases of private coaching can be refunded 100% upon request, up to 2 weeks after purchase or until the first Zoom session is scheduled to start, whichever comes first.
Due to the amount of time and effort we put into each client, refunds are unavailable once coaching begins. Refund requests must be submitted in writing via email to contact@3lostdogs.com.
