If the available time slots don’t work for you:
No worries! The calendar shows the times we typically reserve for coaching, but we have some flexibility and we’re happy to work with you to make training fit into your schedule. Just send us an email and let us know.
What to expect at the onboarding:
This session is all about us getting to know you and your dog, so that we can put together an effective training plan. We’ll take a thorough history and discuss your goals and concerns.
Here’s a general idea of what we’ll ask about:
- Your dog’s training history and veterinary history
- Their routine, diet, and types of food and activities they enjoy
- Your general routine, and how much time/energy you can devote to training
- Details on your dog’s unwanted behavior, if applicable (for example, in aggression cases, we’ll ask about when the aggression started, what seems to set it off, details about specific incidents, etc)
In some cases, we may also get started with the actual teaching part, and introduce the first set of lessons from your program. Your dog does not need to be present for this.
