You’re about to sign up for the Resource Guarding and Aggression Prgram from the 3 Lost Dogs Academy/Daybreak Dogs LLC!
Here’s what you get when you sign up:
- A customized training plan and guidance through our three-month behavior modification plan.
- One initial 90-minute onboarding session via Zoom.
- Pretty much unlimited 30-minute coaching sessions via Zoom (and by “pretty much unlimited,” we’re talking up to five sessions per week. We do take a couple days off each week to do that whole work/life balance thing).
- The ability to text/message us with questions and video clips between coaching sessions.
- A one-year All-Access Pass membership to the 3 Lost Dogs Academy, an online course-based membership program (this membership will not automatically renew).
On this page, you have the option of signing up for a three-payment plan, or a single discounted payment.
Heads up: Once you register, we’ll email you a coaching service agreement to sign digitally. This needs to be signed before coaching can begin.
Technical details and policies:
Our virtual coaching program consists of video chats via Zoom, plus texting and video messaging via Whatsapp and/or email. We will give you instructions, either written or in video form, and ask you to film your training sessions and send us the clips.
We’ll work with you to teach you how to train your dog(s), and modify their behavior to better fit into your life. For behavior modification to work effectively, you may need to make adjustments to your home and lifestyle, such as providing more activity and enrichment to the dog, changing your daily routine, and enacting management techniques like baby gates and visual barriers.
Successful pet training plans depend on a combination of learned skills on the part of pet and owner, as well as regular and honest communication with your trainer.
Behavior is not static; an animal will not continue to perform trained behaviors without ongoing practice. Especially in cases of aggression, although behavior may be modified, the dog is never considered “cured.” A pet’s behavior is ultimately the owner’s responsibility.
We will make every reasonable effort to help you meet your training and behavior modification goals, but make no guarantees of your dog’s performance or behavior as a result of providing professional animal behavior consultation.
Number/length of training sessions and Text a Trainer service:
With the coaching package you’re signing up for, you get one initial onboarding consultation that may last up to 90 minutes, and up to five 30-minute follow-up sessions per week. We ask that you schedule these follow-up sessions 48 hours ahead of time.
This coaching program lasts three months, with the clock starting the day of your onboarding session.
You’ll have access to the Text a Trainer service via Whatsapp starting immediately after your onboarding session, and ending three months later (unless you decide to sign up for further coaching).
We’ll respond to Whatsapp messages received on weekdays within 24 hours, during business hours Mountain Time. It may take longer for us to respond to messages received on weekends.
Time/communication commitment:
For this type of training to be successful, it’s crucial to keep us updated and work closely with us. We ask that you check in with us at least twice per week. If we don’t hear from you, we’ll check in with you via text to help you stay on track.
Payment plan:
If you sign up for the payment plan option, your card or PayPal account will automatically be charged $332 three times, once per month. If you cancel before the three payments are complete, your access to the Academy and the coaching program will end and you won’t be able to proceed through the rest of the resource guarding and aggression curriculum.
Cancellation/No Shows:
If you have to cancel or reschedule a Zoom session, we ask that you give us at least 24 hours notice.
Refund policy:
Purchases of private coaching can be refunded 100% upon request, up to 2 weeks after purchase or until the first Zoom session is scheduled to start, whichever comes first.
Due to the amount of time and effort we put into each client, refunds are unavailable once coaching begins. Refund requests must be submitted in writing via email to contact@3lostdogs.com.
Information on in-person training:
The program you are about to register for is for online-only training. In-person training may be available for an additional fee for clients in Maricopa or Pinal county, Arizona. For clients in Arizona outside these counties, a travel fee may apply.
At your onboarding session, we can discuss adding in-person training sessions to your program.
