What makes it a “secret project?”
Our flagship self-study program, Puppy Survival School, ain’t no spring chicken anymore. Our training approach has evolved in the *checks notes* eight years since all of its original tutorials were filmed.
It’s time for an update.
So we’re looking for a few puppy parents who want to work closely with us at a reduced rate, in exchange for allowing us to use their training footage to create a new-and-improved Puppy Survival School 2.0.

Will this affect anything about my experience or training plan?
Nope! You’ll still get a customized plan built around your specific goals/needs and your dog’s behavior. You just won’t pay as much for it.
What are the tech requirements?
You’ll need to be able to:
- Take short videos and upload them to the internet. Nothin’ fancy; your smartphone camera is fine
- Attend Zoom meetings
- Use Whatsapp for texting and video sharing
What to expect when you register
Jake will email you within 24 hours. We’ll send you the coaching agreement to sign digitally, and then send you off to our trusty calendar to book your first Zoom session at a time that works best for you.
Technical details and policies
Number/length of training sessions and Text a Trainer service:
You’ll get one initial onboarding consultation that may last up to 90 minutes, and up to five 30-minute follow-up sessions per week.
We typically ask that you schedule these follow-up sessions at least 48 hours in advance, but we save some space for last-minute “emergency” sessions. Had a bad day with your pup and need to vent? Did your dog do something scary? Text us and we’ll see if we can squeeze you in sooner.
This program lasts two months, with the clock starting the day of your onboarding session.
You’ll have access to the Text a Trainer service via Whatsapp starting immediately after the onboarding, and ending two months later (unless you decide to sign up for further coaching).
Text a Trainer availability:
If you message us Sunday through Thursday, we’ll respond within 24 hours, during business hours Mountain Time. We normally take Fridays and Saturdays off from client texting. You can still message us on Fridays and Saturdays, and we’ll respond ASAP the following Sunday.
Time/communication commitment:
For this type of training to be successful, it’s crucial to keep us updated and work closely with us.
So we ask that you check in at least twice per week. If we don’t hear from you, we’ll check in with you via text to help you stay on track.
If you’re a current monthly or annual All Access Pass member:
Thanks for upgrading! This coaching program includes a one-year All Access Pass. After you register for coaching, we’ll make sure to stop payments on your existing membership, so that you don’t get charged for two of ’em.
Payment plan
If you sign up for the payment plan, your card or PayPal account will automatically be charged twice: $200 USD today, and $200 USD one month from today.
If you cancel before both payments are complete, your access to the Academy and the coaching program will end and you won’t be able to proceed through the rest of the curriculum.
Refund policy
Purchases of private coaching can be refunded 100% upon request, up to 2 weeks after purchase or until the first Zoom session is scheduled to start, whichever comes first.
Due to the amount of time and effort we put into each client, refunds are unavailable once coaching begins. Refund requests must be submitted in writing via email to contact@3lostdogs.com.
